I’m going on a treasure hunt…..
When I think of a treasure hunt, many different scenes scroll through my mind. One is that of being on a deserted beach with a metal detector. searching for long lost artifacts.
Or it might bring to mind searching through grandmother’s closet, going through layers of history and forgotten artifacts and “moments in time” from her life.
Or it might even be treasures found when you’re not even looking, maybe a long-forgotten photo that brings back the past, or an old favorite book from previous days that never fails to take you on journey of enjoyment or discovery.
By FAR, the very best treasures are found within the pages of the greatest story ever told…the book of life, aka: “The History Book of the Universe”.
Sometimes the treasures I find there are familiar ones. Others I stumble upon seemingly by happenstance. (As if anything is by chance) But there are so many treasures to be found within the pages!

There are treasures to be found on every page, in every verse. You won’t find them if you don’t search them out!
Matthew says it best:
